FAQs
Shelf life, pack sizes, prices and trade terms, answered plainly.
The packs
How long does a pack keep?
Four months from the day it is made, and the same four months across all twenty-five packs, from the 25 g pouches to the kilo bags.
Is everything vegetarian?
Yes, every one. Each pack carries the green mark and there has never been a non-vegetarian line in the range.
What pack sizes are there?
Most of the range is single-serve, somewhere between 25 g and 45 g. Navratna Mix and Corn Flakes come in kilo packs, and Palak Mixture is made all the way from 25 g to 400 g.
Do the photographs show the actual contents?
No, and the packs say so themselves. The photographs here are of the packs, taken by the people who make them, so you know what to look for on the shelf.
The company
Who makes Morano?
Milto Food Products, from a works in Udyog Kunj, Panki, on the western edge of Kanpur.
Is it spelled Morano or Moreno?
Morano. Moreno crops up in a couple of third-party listings, but the packs and our own catalogue all read Morano.
Buying and trade
Can I order online?
Not from us. Morano sells through the wholesale trade rather than direct to homes, and this website takes no orders and no payments.
How do I become a stockist?
Send a request through the trade storefront. It is GST-verified, the firm watches it, and it is the quickest route to a conversation.
Where can I follow the brand?
Instagram at @morano.namkeen, and on Facebook. Those are the brand's only owned channels besides this website.
