How We Make It
Quality
Every pouch has to be worth opening. Here is what stands behind that.
Food grade, all the way through
Every product in the range is made to food-grade standard, in a works on an industrial estate in Panki rather than a back room behind a shop.
Four months, and we mean four
Shelf life is four months from the day it is made, and it is the same four months on all twenty-five packs.
We would rather print a date we can stand behind than a longer one that flatters the label.
Vegetarian, without exception
Every pack carries the green mark. There has never been a non-vegetarian line here and there is no plan for one.
Sealed to survive the journey
A single-serve pouch has a hard life. It is packed into a carton, loaded onto a cycle, and left hanging on a hook in the sun.
The seal is the reason it still cracks when you open it three weeks later.
Twenty-five packs, one standard
Mixtures, bhel, sev, papdi, chiwda and the plain roasted things are all made to the same shelf life, the same veg mark and the same food-grade standard.
There is no premium line here and no cheaper one underneath it.
Made in one place
One works, one city, one set of hands on the recipes. Nothing in the range is bought in and relabelled.
One thing we will not dress up
Every pack prints the line about images being representative only. So does this website.
The photographs here are of the packs themselves, taken by the people who make them. They show you what to look for on the shelf, not a promise about the size of the cashews inside.
